Original temple site is believed to be built by King Vikramaditya. However, the current temple was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in 1780.

The temple has seen multiple destructions &  restoration over centuries by Mughal Emperors

The temple has a golden dome with 1 tonne gold donated by Maharaja Ranjit Singh

The temple opens at 4:00 AM and closes at 11:00 PM. Entry is free, but special darshan tickets are available for a nominal fee.

Be prepared for crowds, especially during festivals and auspicious days.

Kashi is not a normal place to travel to. It’s all about experiencing soulful moments, witnessing people celebrating life and death and vibes!
